Mountaingate 78 Development

Washoe County Community Services Department-Parks has initiated an update of the South Valleys Regional Park Master Plan.  The original master plan for the park was completed in 1993 and last updated in 2000. At that time, the park property consisted of about 82 acres. Since the 2000 update, approximately 23 acres have been added to the park. The current update effort will, therefore, consider existing and future park and recreational amenities on the entire 105 acres.

Homeowners' education classes and on-line video tutorials are offered free by the Ombudsman office of the NV Real Estate Division.  The Ombudsman classes are offered quarterly in Reno.  Occasionally free classes are offered by other organizations.  These classes are posted on the Education Class page as they are announced.

September 2013:  All the streets in the development had a slurry seal applied.

June & July 2011:  The following streets were completely re-paved by the county: Wisteria Dr and Ct, Green Springs Dr and Ct, Alyssum Ct, and Snowball Ct.  The top 2 inches of the old pavement was removed and two layers of new asphalt was applied with a membrane between layers.
